My Story

a little bit about Cash

I'm an experienced software and data engineer proficient in various programming languages, cloud technologies, and testing frameworks. Skilled in implementing quality testing strategies in data pipelines, automated functional and non-functional software testing, and cloud network engineering. Adept at solving complex problems and improving infrastructure reliability at scale.

I have worked as a Data Engineer since 2020 and prior to that I worked as a Software Test Engineer and have done a good deal of freelance web development work. In my downtime I like to work on small indie games and have published a couple solo projects.

In my free time I like to visit arcades, surf, and train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have been training since 2011 and acquired my black belt in December 2023. When I can't visit an arcade, I like to hobby around with arcade hardware, PCBs, and tinker around with my custom Vewlix arcade.

Projects

Bacon, Eggs, and Gas

Bacon, Eggs, and Gas is a web app that displays pricing data as reported from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The Python backend will pull and store monthly data from the BLS and serve it in a flask container to a React.Js frontend.

Z Juice

Z Juice is a randomly generated zombie survival game I created using Unity3D. It is written in C# and I created all the pixel art using Aesprite. It is available to download on Steam
